This Casio AWG100-1A is amazing and possesses a classy look to it. It has every thing, solar-powered battery, self-adjusting atomic time, water resistant, {alarm}, hourly chime, stopwatch and timer. It does appear better than on the online photos since it is discreet-looking and the black of the band blends nicely with the grey (a little lighter grey than on the pictures) of the face, and also the metal ring. I believe it’s really a sporty watch which goes perfectly with business-casual apparel. It’s big, but still seems great because of the combination of dark colors. The hands are actually white colored, that makes it super easy to tell the time even in somewhat dark situations. The tip of the hands, combined with the tick marks of the hours on the dial glow in the dark.
I gave the product a 4-star rating due to some of the downsides of the watch. The light doesn’t enable reading the digital displays, and also the round digital displays are small if looking at the date, the secondary time period (from another city), the timer and the stopwatch (imagine four numbers cramped in the left-hand round digital display). It is good when the screen on the left displays the day of the week (first 3 characters show). The display on the right always shows the seconds (or 1/100 second with the stopwatch) with big enough numbers. I will have gladly given this watch 5 stars if it had not been for these minor inconveniences. Since I use my own watch very casually, not for sports activities, I try to look for reasonably-priced watches with character and unusual features. This one is perfect and classy in all social situations, as well as ENTIRELY easy to customize: date, time (12 or 24H) or day within the left-hand circular screen,(alarm on/off), per hour chime ON/OFF, atomic auto-setting of the watch ON/OFF, Power saving feature ON/OFF, even the beep created if you push the Mode button can be switched off. It is a good watch.
